10 Newly Posted Remote Jobs for Law Enforcement Professionals

Aug 30, 2026

Remote work remains one of the most sought-after options for law enforcement professionals entering the private sector. The good news is that companies continue to hire investigators, fraud professionals, compliance specialists, and security analysts who can evaluate information, conduct interviews, manage sensitive cases, document findings, and make sound decisions with limited supervision.

The ten opportunities below were posted or reposted within the past few days and include positions in special investigations, insider threat, background investigations, workplace compliance, private investigations, and fraud prevention. Some are completely remote, while others are home-based positions requiring occasional travel or fieldwork. As always, carefully review the location, experience, and certification requirements before applying.

Finding the right opportunity is only part of the transition. You also need a resume, LinkedIn profile, and job-search strategy that clearly communicate how your law enforcement experience translates to the private sector. My Private Sector Ops Plan includes a professionally written resume and cover letter, LinkedIn optimization, two one-on-one strategy calls, lifetime access to the Heroes Academy and Heroes Community, and personalized resume tailoring for up to three job openings. It's everything I wish I had when I was leaving law enforcement for the private sector.
